OMAHA, Neb. – Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 – Max I. Walker is proud to announce the company has been voted 1st Place Dry Cleaner for the 8th consecutive year in Omaha Magazine's "Best of Omaha" contest. Starting in 2013, Max I. Walker has been named Omaha's Favorite dry cleaner every year, beating out all other cleaners in the area by earning the most votes from customers.
"We are proud to keep our title as the best dry cleaner in Omaha for the eighth consecutive year," said Casey Walker, Director of Retail Operations. "We put a huge focus on customer experience and a quality product, and it's great to know that's paying off."
Best of Omaha is not the only award Max I. Walker has won. The company also took 1st place in the most recent "Best of the Big O" contest, sponsored by The Reader; 1st place in the most recent "Reader's Choice Awards" sponsored by the Daily Nonpareil; and was a winner in the most recent "Omaha's Choice Awards" sponsored by the World Herald. Max I. Walker has won each of these awards many times in past years as well.
Max I. Walker Cleaners & Launderers was founded by Max I. Walker on March 17, 1917. Over the past 102 years, it has grown into the largest dry cleaner in Omaha with hundreds of employees serving customers at 22 locations in Omaha, Elkhorn, Papillion and Bellevue, Neb. and Council Bluffs, Iowa.
