3rd Annual Ultra Chic Prom Boutique is Ultra Successful
Nearly 500 Dresses Sold; $8,600 Raised for Lydia House
Expectations were smashed at the 3rd Annual Ultra Chic Prom Boutique as more than $8,600 was raised for the Lydia House, the women’s residential recovery program of the Omaha Open Door Mission.
Much of the success can be traced to the generosity of the local community, more than 1,700 dresses donated to the event, and more than 500 sold.
And the good news doesn’t end there as many of the remaining dresses were donated to the Women’s Career Workshop of Lydia House for those who don’t have the means to purchase a dress for a special occasion.
