Ultra Chic Boutique Dress Raffle Fashion Show
Calling Aspiring Runway Models!
We get some pretty spectacular dress donations each year for the Ultra Chic Boutique. To showcase our most beautiful gowns, those with designer labels, or ones that are still new with tags (!), we put on a Fashion Show right in the middle of the sale, complete with a raised catwalk and an emcee. Models strut their stuff to showcase these special dresses, and shoppers buy raffle tickets to win the first rights to purchase them, with all proceeds going directly to the Nebraska Alzheimer's Association.
Once again this year, we want to get you involved! We are seeking Volunteer Models of all shapes and sizes to walk the runway in the Dress Raffle Fashion Show. Absolutely no prior modeling experience is necessary.
Everyone is welcome to apply! For a chance to participate, you just need to do the following:
Film a short 'audition' video telling us a little bit about yourself, and what inspires you to help us raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's Disease by volunteering to model in the Dress Raffle Fashion Show.
Go to the Max I. Walker Facebook page and post your video! Make sure you post it on our page, not yours. (We can't see your video if it's not posted to our page, even if you tag us.) Deadline to apply is 12/24/2019.

Any media that is posted by a visitor to the Max I. Walker Facebook page is public, which means it is able to be seen by, commented on, or shared by anyone else who visits the Max I. Walker Facebook page.
Everyone who applies to be a Volunteer Model on or before 12/24/2019 will be considered; however, there may be more people interested in participating than we are able to accommodate. Please understand that applying does not guarantee ability to participate. Applicants do not need to be 18 or older, but if they are a minor, they will need written permission from a parent or guardian to participate.
If you are selected to participate, you must have availability between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on a weekday during the first two weeks of January 2020 to select the dress you will wear for the Fashion Show. You must also be available from 8 a.m. to noon on 2/1/2020, the day of the Ultra Chic Boutique event and the Fashion Show. You will be required to sign a photo release form, so that pictures from the event can be used for publicity and/or marketing purposes.
